Bank moves court for recovery of Merc used in molestation

GURGAON: A major private bank has filed for “superdari” (recovery) of the Mercedes car, which was used by the accused, Narendra Mahalwat, to molest a woman in DLF II. The real car owner, who had committed suicide, had not paid the full amount to the bank.
A city court will take up this case for hearing on August 4. The case has been move by HDFC Bank before the chief judicial magistrate, Jasbir Singh.The petitioner has appealed to the court to order the release of the Mercedes car.
The real car owner, Hitesh Kapahi, had got the car financed. The bank has submitted that Hitesh defaulted in paying the EMIs.
